Alison Wright (born in England) is an English actress. She received an Emmy Award in the year 2017 for her role as Martha Hanson, the star of FX's period spy series The Americans. In addition, she has appeared in Ryan Murphy's cult show Feud - Bette & Joan & Hollywood. Wright was born 12 July 1976, from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear and was raised by adoptive parents.
