Zulay Shenao was born in Colombia and is an American-born Colombian actor. Her most notable part was as Esperanza for her role in the Oprah Winfrey Network series 'If the love you have for someone isn't not right'. Zulay Henao is also famous for acting in several films such as 'Illegal Tender', 'Takers and "Boy Wonder" and "True the Memoirs of a Global Assassin'. She was born in Medellin, Antioquia, Colombia She, along with her family moved to USA when she was just four years old. In high school, she worked in the U.S. Army for three years and went to Methodist College while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She was a student at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, and worked at odd jobs prior to beginning her acting career. On a personal note the gorgeous and gifted actress is now dating American models Joel Rush. She was earlier engaged to actress Terrace Howard. Henao is very close to her family members and believes that to be her first priority.
